How to support this work

The projects you see on this site exist because someone decided to fund them or carry them out with us. There are several ways to do that, and each one has its own path.

Looking to donate to community projects in Honduras? Whether you're a Rotary club pursuing a global grant, a company looking for CSR opportunities in Central America, someone who wants to volunteer in Copán Ruinas, or an individual donor after transparent, high-impact giving in water, health, and education — here's where to start.

Four pathways

Choose the one that fits

Not all support looks the same or comes through the same channel. Each has its own logic and advantages.

  • From the United States

    Through the IPA Foundation

US donors receive tax-deductible receipts through the IPA Foundation (501(c)(3), EIN 82-1554460). The IPA channels all funds to direct project costs in Copán Ruinas, with no administrative withdrawals.

  • Rotary club

    Rotary global grant

Rotary clubs can partner with the Rotary Club of Copán Ruinas on global grant applications through The Rotary Foundation. The club has successfully carried out multiple global grants in water, sanitation, and education.

  • Business or institution

    Direct sponsorship

Local and international businesses can sponsor specific projects — a water system, a library, a medical brigade, a batch of eco-stoves. Each project has a known cost. The sponsorship page sets out the levels of support.

  • Individual

    Contact the club

Anyone who wants to help can write to the club. Whether it's time, expertise, or resources — the first step is a conversation.

What your support makes possible

These photos will be added soon. In the meantime, here are the spaces they'll fill.

Transparency

Where your contribution goes

Every project has clear outcomes, identified partners, and financial records that follow Rotary International's standards — a practice the club maintains project after project.

Once project reports are published, we'll link to each one from here. In the meantime, you're welcome to write to us for specific information about any project.
