A Rotaract club for Copán Ruinas

You are between 18 and 30. You want to do something for your town and meet people who think the same way. There is no Rotaract club in Copán Ruinas yet: we are forming one, and this page is where you sign up.

What it is

Rotaract, in three ideas

  • A Rotary club for young people

Rotaract is Rotary International’s program for people ages 18 to 30. There are Rotaract clubs in more than 180 countries, and since 2019 they are full members of Rotary International.

  • Its own projects

A Rotaract club chooses and carries out its own service projects, with its own board, meetings, and budget. The sponsoring Rotary club accompanies; it does not direct.

The Rotary family

Three clubs, three ages

Interact is for students ages 12 to 18; Rotaract, for young people 18 to 30; Rotary, for adults. Copán Ruinas already has the first and the third. Rotaract is the missing step, and it is usually the one that brings back those who went through Interact.

Interest form

It is not a commitment: it is a list. When there are enough people, the club calls the first meeting and lets everyone know.

Optional. It is usually how the first meeting is called.

Your data is used only for that. It is not shared with third parties.

Fields marked with * are required.

Do I need to have been in Interact to join Rotaract?

No. Rotaract is open to anyone ages 18 to 30 who wants to serve their community. Having been in Interact helps, but it is not a requirement.

How much does Rotaract membership cost?

The club itself decides that when it is chartered: each Rotaract club sets its own dues. While it is in formation, signing up costs nothing.

What happens after I sign up?

The Rotary club keeps your interest on file. When there is a large enough group, it calls the first meeting by WhatsApp or email, depending on what you left, and there everyone decides together how to start.
