The Jornada Morazánica brings together the members of Honduras's Rotary clubs and their families each year. Inspired by the legacy of Francisco Morazán — the Central American statesman who championed unity, liberal reform, and regional integration — the Jornada takes place each year the weekend before the Feriado Morazanico, the Honduran public holiday that honors his memory. It is a weekend where Rotarians from every corner of Honduras come together to learn, grow, and celebrate as one community.

The Jornada moves to a different host club each year, with each edition building on Francisco Morazán's legacy of unity and cooperation. In 2027 it is Copán Ruinas's turn — the club already hosted the District 4250 conference in 2019, with delegations from Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize.

Is sponsorship tax-deductible?
Yes. The Rotary Club of Copán Ruinas is a registered non-profit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible under Honduran tax law. How are sponsorship funds used?
Funds go directly to event costs: logistics, security, sound, decoration, cultural and community activities. The Rotary Club of Copán Ruinas follows Rotary International's financial standards and maintains transparent records. Any sponsor may request a fund usage report.
Can I sponsor with products or services instead of money?
Yes, we accept in-kind sponsorship. Hotels can offer lodging, restaurants can contribute food, transportation companies can support logistics. These contributions are valued and recognized at the corresponding sponsorship tier.
