  • Impact

    Real community impact

The Rotary Club of Copán Ruinas has served more than 38 communities and 16,000 people through clean water, health, and education. As a member, you help decide which projects to pursue.

    International belonging

Rotary has more than 1.2 million members in 200 countries. International conferences, exchanges, and the ability to collaborate with clubs on every continent.

People of action

Who is Rotary for?

There's no single profile. What Rotarians share is the desire to make a difference for others.

  • Young professionals

If you're building your career, Rotary gives you visibility, connections, and the chance to lead from an early stage. Rotaract (ages 18–30) is another great entry point.

  • Business owners

Share space with other entrepreneurs who understand that business success goes hand in hand with community well-being.

  • Community leaders

Educators, healthcare workers, mayors, NGO leaders — if you already serve your community, Rotary amplifies your reach.

  • Retirees

Experience, time, and a desire to keep contributing. Many Rotarians find renewed purpose in the club after their professional careers.

Club activities

What members do

Rotary life combines service, fellowship, and learning. Here's what to expect.

  • Weekly meetings

Each week, members gather to catch up, hear from a guest speaker, and plan action. It's the heart of the club: one hour of real conversation.

  • Service projects

From clean water systems to medical brigades, Rotarians carry out projects with measurable results. Each member participates as their schedule allows.

  • Fundraising

Community events, auctions, business partnerships — the club funds its projects through creativity and collective effort.

  • Fellowship

Social gatherings, trips to district conferences, celebrations. The club is also a community of friends who share values.
